You know things have gone far awry when a priest tells his flock that stealing is fine according to the Bible. Father Tim Jones of St. Lawrence Church in York, England said “My advice as a Christian priest is to shoplift” if you need to make ends meet. He has come under heavy criticism and rightfully so for his remarks. He did say to steal from large national businesses and not small family businesses as if that is suppose to make stealing OK.
